McInMEMRIES (Making Memories)
Laphroaig Barrel Aged...
McInMEMRIES is a base beer brewed with ±4%
whisky malt (dried over peat fires). Bourbon vanilla is added and gives the beer a light sweetness to balance out with the peatiness. Each year the base beer is bottled and first presented at Zythos in Leuven.
The same base beer is barrel aged on a whisky barrel. The first coming (2018 )barrel aged version of McInMEMRIES was barrel aged on a Laphroaig barrel.
13,5% ABV
Bourbon vanilla
Whisky malt
Aged on a 500liter Laphroaig sherry butt
Only available in 75cl bottles

JAZZ' BLACK MAGIC
Cognac Barrel Aged...
Cognac Barrel Aged version of Jazz' Black Oatmeal Delight. Coffee and Cognac is a great combination,
so we thought we couldn't go bad with that combo.
The name is not final yet but it's coming soon as it has been bottled already.
10% ABV
Oatmeal Stout as base

FIVE A DAY
Barrel Aged (Sour) Fruitbeer
Infusing our sour Five A Day fruit beer with a bottle of Goossens
'58-'62 gueuze seems to have done the trick and had quite an impact on the beer. In any case everyone really likes this beer.
The micro-biological flora in our barrels has nicely evolved and the maturation of the second batch is going a lot faster than the first batch and progressing quite nicely... Looking forward to a second bath of this beer.

We bottled a very limited number of the 2017 version and it really needed some extra time in the barrel to allow the mixed fermention to do it's work.
The 2018 version is definately not quite ready for bottling.
